Disc / Rotor
The disc your pads clamp onto. We check for scoring, warping and minimum thickness — a warped disc is a common cause of steering-wheel shudder.
Brake Pads
The friction material that presses against the disc. Worn pads mean longer stopping distances and, eventually, damage to the disc itself.
Caliper
The clamp that houses the pads and pistons. Seized or leaking calipers cause uneven braking and pulling to one side.
Hydraulic Line
Carries brake fluid under pressure. We inspect for leaks, corrosion and soft pedal feel caused by air or moisture in the system.
